4 Days and 3 Nights Best Safari Experience

Nairobi National Park, David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Centre Masai Mara National Reserve

Cost: $ 2600

Day 1: Nairobi City Tour

After arriving in Nairobi in the morning from Kigali, you’ll head straight into one of the most unique wildlife experiences in the world—Nairobi National Park. Just minutes from the city center, this incredible park offers a rare chance to see lions, rhinos, giraffes, and more against the backdrop of skyscrapers. It’s a perfect way to begin your Kenyan adventure. From the park, you’ll continue to the nearby David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where you’ll meet rescued baby elephants and learn how they’re rehabilitated for release back into the wild. Then it’s on to the Giraffe Center, where endangered Rothschild giraffes come right up to the viewing platform to be hand-fed—an unforgettable, up-close wildlife encounter. In the afternoon, choose between two deeply cultural experiences: a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum, the beautifully preserved home of the Out of Africa author nestled in the peaceful suburb of Karen, or a guided walking tour through Kibera, Kenya’s largest informal settlement. The Kibera experience offers a powerful and eye-opening look into the lives, creativity, and resilience of the communities that call it home, or visit to the national Museum. After a full and fascinating day, you’ll check in to your hotel in Nairobi (pre-booked by you) for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, your driver will pick you up and begin the scenic journey to the worldfamous Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive (approximately 5-6hours) takes you through the Great Rift Valley, with a stop at a lookout point for panoramic views and optional shopping at local curio stalls. You’ll make another brief stop in Narok Town for refreshments before continuing on. Check in to Olaloi Mara Camp or a similar accommodation arranged by your travel agency, then enjoy lunch and some time to relax. In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Mara, one of the most wildlife-rich areas in all of Africa. From lions and elephants to impalas and cheetahs, your safari experience begins in earnest here. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight in the heart of the savannah.

The main highlight today is the chance to witness the Great Migration. If the timing is right, you’ll witness one of the greatest natural spectacles on Earth. You’ll enjoy your picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by wildlife and panoramic views, before continuing your exploration of the reserve. By evening, return to your camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.
