Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative of Wild mystery Safaris. After a short safari briefing, depart immediately for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve for about 5-6 hours. Enjoy a scenic drive through Kenya’s breathtaking highlands, with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by some relaxation. In the late afternoon, embark on your first thrilling game drive across the golden plains, home to the Big Five and countless other species. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 & 3: Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day safari adventure in Masai Mara. The morning and evening hours are perfect for wildlife spotting, as predators are most active during these cooler times. Your day includes extensive game drives with a picnic lunch in the reserve to maximize your exploration. Expect to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, and, during the migration season, huge herds of wildebeests crossing rivers filled with crocodiles. Enjoy an evening visit to the Masai Village. Optionally, you may take a hot air balloon safari at dawn (extra cost) for an unforgettable aerial view of the Mara. Return to the lodge for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for about 5-6 hours, often called the “Bird Watchers’ Paradise.” Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, set off on a game drive around the lake shores, famous for flamingos (seasonal), pelicans, and numerous bird species. Lake Nakuru is also a sanctuary for endangered rhinos, and you might spot both black and white rhinos here, along with Rothschild’s giraffe, lions, and leopards. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning drive through Lake Nakuru National Park before departing for Lake Naivasha for about an hour. Arrive at your lodge on the shores of the freshwater lake by midday and settle in. In the afternoon, embark on a boat ride across Lake Naivasha, where you will spot hippos wallowing in the water and a variety of birdlife. You may also indulge in a walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and impalas, a rare chance to walk safely among wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxed evening.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and drive southwards toward Amboseli National Park for about 5-6 hours, famed for its massive herds of elephants and striking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for a late lunch at your lodge. After some rest, embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s wetlands, savannahs, and woodlands. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, and a plethora of bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner under the vast African sky.

Day 7: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Spend a full day enjoying Amboseli’s natural beauty. Begin with an early morning game drive to catch the best views of Mount Kilimanjaro and spot predators like lions and hyenas before they retreat from the heat. Visit Observation Hill, where you can take in sweeping views of the park, and see the swampy areas where elephants and hippos’ graze. After a rewarding day, relax at your lodge with dinner and recount your safari adventures.

Day 8: Amboseli – Nairobi – Departure

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a leisurely morning game drive as you exit Amboseli. Drive back to Nairobi with scenic views along the way and get transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home, marking the end of an unforgettable Kenyan safari adventure.
